1. keep it simple. you are a bundle of heart, energy, and intentions,
   trying to keep the nest warm and dry for similar bundles in your
   corner of the universe.

2. some of the bundles in and around your nest align well with you,
   others are scratchy. they all matter, often in ways you can’t see
   until you’re a few decades down the road.

3. careful not to pine for others’ nests or bundles too much. they have
   the same problems as you, just spread out over different space and stuff.
   there’s probably stress involved.

4. money can matter, but not usually in the way you think it does

5. the increase in your happiness is directly proportionate to how
   much you help build others’ happiness.
