Maybe your ‘off’ is god’s ‘on’

Exhausted and rudderless?

A sentence might help: Maybe your "off" is god's "on".

~

Picture yourself, alone, as a puzzle piece, with a jagged border that marks where you stop and the world begins.

You're probably drawn to the off-places: where the borders dip in, way in. Jagged arcs and vectors reaching towards your heart, your head, your gut. The negative spaces that mistakes and bad luck and circumstance carved like a spiritual flesh eating disease.

Now kill the isolation and look at the context, at all the other's pieces around you.

Maybe those other's pieces are not completely different; maybe they're differently complete - even more so when your borders and their borders match up for a few minutes and you truly connect.

And maybe you're only aware of the fits some of the time - maybe they're happening all the time, your yin to their yang, their in to your out, an impossible dance only deciperhable from a god's-eye-view.

And maybe now for just a few minutes you can see how your "off" is gods' "on": a part-of-the-whole that is no less worthy of love than all of the stuff that normally gets the spotlight.

Truly, you were built for This.

Always-ever-onward.
