No start or stop in Surrender

Her journey had long since subsumed itself with the realization that there was no start and stop in Surrender.

Letting the rain in and the sage out, she sat in the window well, locked eyes with me, and asked to see my map.

“Each point there, every one of the thousand-million marks, is a crossing with another. Chance, friends, family, foes, strangers, lovers. Gather the points together and put the orb in your heart-hearth”

“Home”

What shall I give it?

“Love”

I tried to wrap her in my Shadow and its questions, but realized…

Her journey had long since subsumed itself with the realization that there was no start and stop in Surrender.
