bibles and vedas and kiddish cups (oh my)
it's an astonishing, glorious mess, this interior ~
the mind doing what the mind does best,
firehosing the cranium with sheets of words and images
while the body tags along, trying to keep up
on afternoons like this one ~ more mornings in drag than their own entities ~ others' worldviews colonize me long enough to make a difference
music trumps the bible
grace counters the counterpoint
zen outlines it all and
passes it to shimmering
kiddish cups and golden vedic stanzas
it's an astonishing, glorious mess;
it's mine,
and it's perfect.
